Born to House Thoren in the Summerlands, she has spent most of her life as an outsider in the Mountain Realm. Before leaving to visit House Osmont, Borin allowed Gloriana to rule in his absence. When her lord husband returns two moons later, Gloriana isn't so willing to give up the power she gained.
