In 481 SM, Lord Morvan Osmont had his men assassinate the members of House Thoren and installed House Ashmire as the new Lord Protector of the Summerlands.

The Osmont Golden Age lasted from 150 to 300 SM, during which House Osmont furthered the discrimination of Maras within the Forestlands. Some Maras call it the Harbingers Golden Age as they experienced the most fruitful outcome from this era.

Therion Osmont was the Lord Protector of the Kingdom of Valley Pines from 339 to 358 SM.
